As the President, I'm responsible for overseeing all club events and activities. I lead a team of 17 enthusiastic MISA executives to ensure club goals are met and events are well organized and executed. I also serve as the liaison between MISA, the UBC MBIM department, and AMS; while I advocate for students' concerns and feedback. 

As VP Internal, it's my job to make sure everyone else does their job as smoothly as possible. My main responsibilities include running MISA elections, planning our weekly meetings, ensuring action items are completed, creating and analyzing student-wide surveys to collect your feedback, and implementing improvements to make our club better.

As a VP External, I am the student liaison between the MBIM/BIOT community and MISA. Responsible for building partnerships with external stakeholder in order to enrich the student experience with valuable academic and social opportunities.

As the VP Finance, I'm in charge of all things money! Some of my responsibilities include tracking all of the transactions we make as a club, making sure execs are reimbursed for their purchases, and keeping our spendings within budget.

As the VP Communications, I am in charge of MISA's incredible marketing team! I also create all of our monthly newsletters in addition to managing our social media and external modes of communications such as the MISA Website, the Petri Dish, and Campus Base.

As a SUS Representative, I represent the interests of MBIM students on SUS council. I participate actively in the planning of MISA's events and provide support where needed. I also act as a liaison between SUS and MISA to ensure effective communication is in place.

As fourth year/grad representative I speak on behalf of the Microbiology & Immunology Department grads, advocate for their best interests, and plan social events such as the year end Microgala!

As a 3rd Year Representative I have the pleasure of acting as the representative for the entirety of the MBIM 3rd year students, planning and advertising MISA events, and acting as a general aid to the rest of the executive team.

As a 2nd Year Rep, I serve as the voice of all second-year students on MISA's executive team. I promote MISA's events through classroom announcements and social media, and take the lead in organizing and executing engaging social events like Pumpkin Carving and Breakfast at MISA's.

As a 2nd Year Rep, I voice the interests of our second-year peers to MISA's executive team, advertise MISA's events through classroom announcements and social media platforms, and spearhead some social events, such as Breakfast at MISA's!

As the Fundraising and Charities Representative, I spearhead various events and sales aimed at raising money for MISA and the MICB department! Past events include February Candy Grams, Bak'd cookie sales, and much more!

As an Academic rep, I am responsible for organizing and executing all academic club activities, including coordinating the MISA Mentorship Program. Some of the events I plan include Mentorship Night, Coffee Chats, and collaborating on Microbiology & Immunology Careers Night.

As an academic representative, I am responsible for organizing all academic club activities, including Mentorship Night, Meet Your Major and more. Beyond the academic events academic reps are involved in planning big events like careers night and Microgala!

As the Biotechnology Representative in MISA, I act as a liaison between Biotech and MISA to voice Biotech concerns and interests. Additionally, I help to advertise all of MISA's events to Biotech students.

As a Marketing Rep for MISA, I support the production and delivery of marketing material made by the marketing team. I also help in designing the layout and theme of the MISA website, social media pages and external modes of communication.

As the marketing representative in MISA, I am responsible for designing event graphics and updating the MISA Instagram page and website. I also support the VP communications in promoting events and coordinating with other reps.
