About The Event

Need some advice on how to get into research or ace your courses? Want to learn more about Co-op from a student’s perspective? Join the MISA Mentorship Program! The MISA Mentorship Program is an annual, year-long program designed to support first and second year students in Science by pairing them with an upper year mentor in the life sciences. Students interested in transferring into MBIM are welcome!

At this event you will meet your mentor/mentee, where there will be presentations by professors and upper-year student panelists with different academic/career backgrounds to learn if MBIM is the right major for you.

As a first/second-year mentee, this is a good opportunity to receive guidance from an upper-year student and to learn more about the research opportunities, admissions processes, and co-op.

This is a great opportunity for mentors to develop their leadership, communication, and personal skills, and you will have the opportunity to have your hours verified!
